Connecting HubSpot to Quin automatically syncs your contacts and meeting notes with your CRM. You can ask Quin questions about contacts, create follow-up tasks, and update records without logging into HubSpot.

Before you begin

You need an active HubSpot account with permission to install integrations.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Add Integration
  3. Select HubSpot from the list
  4. Click Connect and sign in to your HubSpot account
  5. Review the permissions Quin requests (read and write contact records)
  6. Click Authorize to complete the connection

Your HubSpot integration will now appear as connected in your Integrations page.

What to expect

After connecting HubSpot, Quin automatically syncs contact information between your CRM and conversations. When you mention a contact or company in chat, Quin finds the matching HubSpot record and updates it with your notes. You can ask Quin questions like "What did I last discuss with Sarah?" and get instant answers from your CRM without opening HubSpot.

Examples of what Quin does:

  • If you say "Spoke to Sarah Chen from Acme Corp about Q3 budget," Quin finds Sarah's record in HubSpot and adds the note
  • When you ask "What did I last talk to Daniel Lee about?" Quin pulls Daniel's latest activity from HubSpot
  • After a meeting ends, Quin updates the contact record with meeting notes and next steps automatically

How it works

Quin keeps your HubSpot contacts synchronized in real-time:

Meeting notes - When Quin captures notes from a meeting, it automatically attaches them to the relevant contact records in HubSpot.

Contact lookups - Ask Quin about any contact by name or company, and it pulls current information from your HubSpot account.

Automatic updates - When you tell Quin about conversations or commitments, it updates the corresponding HubSpot records without manual data entry.

Task creation - Follow-up tasks and reminders you create through Quin sync to HubSpot as activities on the relevant contact records.

Managing the integration

To disconnect HubSpot:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find the HubSpot integration
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm to stop syncing

Disconnecting stops all future syncing between Quin and HubSpot. Existing data in both systems remains unchanged.

Troubleshooting

Quin can't find a contact I know exists in HubSpot

  • Check that the contact name or company name matches exactly in HubSpot
  • Verify the integration is still connected in your Settings
  • Try using the contact's email address instead of their name

Meeting notes aren't appearing in HubSpot

  • Confirm the integration shows as connected in Settings > Integrations
  • Check that you mentioned the contact's name or company during the conversation
  • Verify you have write permissions for contacts in your HubSpot account

Updates appear in Quin but not in HubSpot

  • Refresh your HubSpot page to see the latest changes
  • Check your HubSpot permissions allow Quin to write to contact records
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
